Recognising this, 101 Collins Street, Melbourne’s premier commercial building, redefines tenant engagement with a bespoke app, setting a new standard in modern luxury.

The vision

101 Collins is synonymous with first-class facilities and services. Yet, there was a notable lack of connection and ease with which they could be accessed. Their goal was clear: to create a seamless experience for tenants, allowing them to connect with everything the building offers at the tap of a button and making daily work life feel a touch more luxurious.


To preserve the building's premium brand image, 101 Collins needed an app that reflected its distinct aesthetic and bespoke tenant experience. An off-the-shelf solution would not suffice. Together with development partners Kodaa and Applickable, they crafted a customised mobile and web app to revolutionise tenant engagement. At the heart of this app was ResiKey.

Elevated experience

ResiKey became an integral component of the 101 Collins app solution. It integrates effortlessly into the custom app, featuring a fully branded front-end experience aligning to the 101 Collins aesthetic. With ResiKey, tenants enjoy seamless access throughout the building - from the base building and end-of-trip facilities to bike cages, lockers, car parks, elevators, and even restricted office areas.


Following a streamlined onboarding process, building members can navigate these access points with a simple touch of their smartphone or wearable. Through express mode, there's no need to unlock devices or even open the app - tenants simply pass through access points, enhancing day-to-day convenience and luxury.

Streamlined access management

ResiKey's access management platform revolutionises how access is issued, tracked, and managed within the multi-tenanted building. Tenant administrators can easily log in to request and manage employee access within their specific tenancies, with requests funneled through 101 Collins' security team. The security team uses the same portal to approve, reject, and track all access requests, ensuring seamless and secure operations.

Seamless integration

The app's success lies in its seamless integration with various systems. ResiKey works in tandem with the HID Origo portal for issuing credentials, manages access control through Integrity, and slots into the ResiKey user management platform for tenant and user management. It also integrates with Gantner smart lockers, Otis elevators, and Hubspot's marketing and CRM tools, creating a unified digital experience.
